complete backend platform for cafes, salons, spas, and restaurants. gift cards, loyalty programs, online ordering with Stripe checkout, appointment booking, table reservations, email campaigns, and customer CRM — all in one dashboard. merchants get paid directly to their bank account.
challenge
building a unified platform where independent business owners can manage every customer touchpoint without technical knowledge — from accepting gift card payments to managing staff schedules to sending email campaigns.
solution
Next.js 15 app with Supabase for auth and data, Stripe Connect for direct merchant payouts, Resend for transactional emails, and a modular feature system. Each business gets a white-label storefront that auto-extracts branding from their website.

a fully automated local city guide for Ottawa — publishing daily news, food, real estate, arts, and events content powered by AI. articles are generated from RSS feeds, Instagram, and Reddit, then auto-published with SEO-optimized copy and cover images.
challenge
building a self-sustaining content platform that sources, writes, images, and publishes Ottawa news articles automatically — without manual editorial work — while maintaining quality and local relevance.
solution
Next.js 16 site backed by Supabase, with a local launchd pipeline that runs hourly. Claude AI writes 400–600 word articles with Ottawa SEO, Pexels supplies cover images, and Resend handles the newsletter. Vercel hosts the live site at ottown.ca.

Stittsville Village Association — rebrand
a full rebrand and rebuild for the Stittsville Village Association — the 100% volunteer-run group behind the Parade of Lights, Canada Day, and Arts in the Park. 40+ years of community work, finally with a home online that matches it.
challenge
SVA does a lot: four annual village events, monthly public meetings, board records, sponsor relationships, and advocacy with municipal councillors on planning, youth, and seniors issues. all of it lived on a site that didn't reflect the organization's stature — and every update had to route through someone technical, which is fatal for a group run entirely by volunteers.
solution
a complete visual rebrand paired with an information architecture built around how residents actually arrive: looking for the next event, wanting to volunteer, or checking what the board decided. events are browsable by year, meeting minutes are published as official records, sponsors get real recognition, and a dismissible banner lets the team push time-sensitive notices like the AGM without touching code.

a bilingual self-management guide for people living with heart disease, built for Bruyère Health and the Canadian Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation. covers nutrition, exercise, mental well-being, social support, and daily wellness.
challenge
translating clinical, evidence-based health research into something a patient or caregiver can actually read and act on — in both English and French, at full parity, and accessible to an older audience often reading on a phone.
solution
a plain-language guide split into six sections with dedicated paths for patients and caregivers, a services directory, and a mirrored French site. built mobile-first with accessible type sizing, colour contrast, and navigation.
